Item Development of method for testing spherical bearings for wear resistance(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Skvortsov, Oleksandr Oleksandrovich; The aircraft industry, as one of the most high-tech sectors, is currently undergoing major transformations. This is due before total deep and rapid changes global economy and the new nature of competition. The technology portfolio of the sector is changing very dynamic, replenished with new samples products and not always "open" developments. Some after some time lose their relevance, and not having time to realize their potential, due to the acceleration of the cycle, others move into the category of breakthroughs and become the basis future aviation. A characteristic trend in the current stage of development of aviation technologies is their migration from the military to the civilian sector and vice versa. In other words, technology is evolving "Dual purpose". Currently, several segments in which the turning points of technological sector evolution: aircraft engines, new structural materials and coatings, on-board equipment, aviation fuel. Historically, aviation development has focused on overcoming two barriers – maximum heights and flight speeds.Item Methodological bases for maintaining the operational reliability of the fuel system of a long-range passenger aircraft with two turbojet engines(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Tiurin, Danylo; Тюрін, ДанилоNowadays every aircraft which is operated involves large amount of systems to maintain normal operating conditions. Ensuring aircraft systems reliability and durability is a direct way to provide safety in flight, maintenance department of aviation company is ordered to supply this necessity. Normally, each modern company or operator has own Maintenance programme (MP), methods, instructions, technologies and procedures which are distinctly approved according to manufacturer's regulatory documents and consequently due to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) or State Aviation Administration (SAA) requirements. Modern aircraft carries the newest scientific and technological decisions, this approach needs to improve aircraft efficiency permanently. On the other hand, maintenance methodology is needed to chase the technology step close enough, Aviation authority requirements should be chased in the same way. Given work purpose is obtained to study a long-range twin turbojet aircraft fuel system, investigate ways and approaches for maximizing reliability during flight operations. Fuel system on every modern AC is a complicated complex of interconnected subsystems. Every part which provide fuel delivery is required appropriate maintenance and defined level of reliability. Developing of fuel system efficiency is achieved by rapid growth of the aviation industry (before the COVID-19 quarantine), technologies, appropriate competition between aircraft manufactures all around the world, including Boeing company and Airbus, eternal wishes of designers to reveal new trends and new solutions in aircraft manufacturing.Item Analysis of wear resistance aviation materials with titanium alloys(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Al-Rybaye, Hasan Falah Hasan; To begin with I want to mention that every element has its own life cycle. No matter if it corresponds to elements made by human or some naturally created parts. Though speaking about details that are created for different movement purposes the lifecycle runs much faster. The reason for that is that such details are under great influence of friction forces and hence wear becomes the reason why their lifecycle is so short. Among the maing negative factors that can damage different details is fretting-corrosion. No matter what are the modern methods of repairing and recovery, but unfortunately all of the details that are under cyclic movement cannot avoid its influence. So the way out is to use such materials and especially alloys that can reduce losses of surface and elongate duration of details operation. In our diploma work we will make a set of tests on the special machine that imitates cyclic movement. For obtaining the best results that are close to reality we chose titanium alloy ВТ-22 in couple with different materials and try to compare our important results. Due to this results we will understand the best and most reliable couple for titanium alloy. It’s obvious that titanium is very reliable element and has very high characteristics. So we will try to find out the best metal alloy among the counter specimens. Our investigations will be very useful for different plants, factories and design offices. We will determine the best couple that corresponds to 2 main parameters: prime cost and durability.Item Мethod of diagnostic gradual degradation of a turboshaft engine flow path(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Yaremchuk, Rostyslav; Яремчук, РостиславIncreasing requirements for the safety and regularity of aircraft flights necessitated an ever-wider introduction into the practice of operating enterprises of methods and means of technical diagnostics, including aviation engines. The practical application of diagnostic methods determined the need for enterprises in engineering personnel with appropriate training, which was reflected in the state educational standard for training specialists. in the direction 652700 "Testing and operation of aviation and rocket and space technology". In this document, the qualification requirements state that the engineer must know the methods and means of assessing and managing the technical condition of aviation technology. To ensure these requirements in the implementation of the educational process, the discipline "Reliability and technical diagnostics" has been introduced into the list of compulsory disciplines. This discipline is basic for the study of such disciplines as "Technical operation of aircraft and aircraft engines", "Technological processes for the maintenance of aircraft and aircraft engines." At present, the educational literature devoted to the issues of diagnosing aviation equipment is clearly insufficient. And educational literature, from a unified position and at the modern level, covering the issues of control and diagnostics of aviation gas turbine engines in terms of thermogasdynamic and vibroacoustic parameters, is simply not there.Item Influence of human factor on continued airworthiness system efficiency(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Ovcharenko, Daria; Овчаренко, ДарьяAviation safety depends largely on maintenance. When will it be not done correctly, it contributes a significant share aviation accidents and incidents. Some examples of maintenance errors are incorrectly installed parts and the necessary checks are not performed. in comparison with many other threats to aviation security there may be errors in aviation maintenance technicians (AMT). harder to detect. Often these errors are present but are not visible and have the potential to remain latent, affecting safe operation of aircraft for a longer period of time. AMTs face a set of unique human factors in aviation. They often work in the evenings or early in the morning, in confined spaces, on platforms that are at a high level and in various adverse temperatures / humidity conditions. Work can be physically stressful, but also requires attention to detail. By nature of maintenance tasks, AMT usually spend more time to prepare for the task than to actually perform it. Right documentation of all maintenance work is a key element, and AMTs usually spend the same amount of time updating maintenance logs of how they do the job.Item Methodological bases of maintaining the efficiency of helicopter maintenance with takeoff weight of 8-16 tons(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Pyshun, Oleg; Пишун, ОлегThe formation of aviation is associated with an increase in the importance of flight safety and the effectiveness of the use of flight equipment. In order for passengers and flight crew to feel calm during the flight, safety always comes first. Flight safety is very important, because in every case of the use of AC, people's lives are involved. Safety should be the most important priority for any airline in all aspects of its operation. Violations of AC safety are associated not only with one plane crash and loss of life, but also with hostility and errors during maintenance, repair and operation, which also lead to injuries and death of personnel. Various incidents and accidents constitute statistics. As a rule, such cases make a great contribution to investigations. At the end of these investigations, we receive various types of tests. The advantages of helicopters associated with the specifics of their flight, including vertical take-off and landing, determine the cost of their operation higher than in the case of AC. The reason for this state of affairs lies in the fact that many elements of their design are exposed to variable force and direction. As a result, if negligence or errors are made during inspections, overhauls or maintenance during the current operation of helicopters, damage to one of the main elements (for example, the rotor blade) may result. In summary, the helicopter maintenance system is key to ensuring that this type of AC is properly operational.Item Method for assessing influence of operating mode and technical state of high-temperature gas turbine engine on the process of damage accumulation in its turbine blades(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Nahirnyi, Ruslan Romanovich; Gas turbine engines are the main type of engines in civil and military aviation, used in shipbuilding, energy, gas industry. The most important requirement for engines, especially aircraft engines, is high reliability. In the problem of ensuring the reliability of gas turbine engines, an important role belongs to the reliability of the most common parts - blades. The blades are complex, highly loaded critical parts that experience a complex complex of influences of various nature (static loads, vibrations, heating) for a long time of operation. Blade breakage leads to serious accidents, material losses. Therefore, to ensure the reliability of the GTE, it is necessary to know when these blades fail before they cause a catastrophe, so various bench tests are performed during the design to assess the life of the blades, but bench tests are usually expensive and must be based. For this, mathematical models are being developed during the design to help assess durability, but the engine is not operating in ideal conditions. The most significant impact on the durability of elements and components of aviation gas turbine engines have external environmental conditions, as well as the conditions of flight operation. Therefore, it is very important to be able to estimate the accumulation of damage so that the residual resource can be understood.Item Increasing the service life of aircraft parts with vacuum arc coatings(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Lukianenko, Yevhenii Viktorovich; Ensuring high levels of durability and wear resistance of friction parts is a decisive factor in improving reliability and service life of modern machines. Statistics shows that about 80% of faults in the machines are caused by wear and fracture of friction surfaces of machine parts. For aircraft the loss of details performance in the friction nodes is most often associated with the development of fretting. The landing gear details are one the most critical details of modern passenger and cargo aircrafts. The analysis of landing gear materials revealed that such world famous companies as Boeing, Airbus, Antonov more often use titanium alloys for landing gear details production. These alloys meet the working conditions of the landing gear in terms of endurance, but they have low wear resistance. With the help of coatings application many problems can be solved. Such as improving weather resistance and operational stability, grip strength, heat resistance, erosion resistance, protective properties and chemical resistance for a calendar resource. Therefore it is necessary to choose the coating to apply it on the details friction surfaces which can not only increase the wear resistance of new components, but can be used during the restoration processes.Item Methods of Fuel Efficiency Increase of Turbofan Engines for Long-haul Airplanes.(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Tkachuk, Yevgenii Oleksandrovich; Air transport is a major driver of the nation's economic and social development. This plant covers all operations involving the transport of goods and people by air. Air transport connects people, countries and cultures around the world. In addition, it opens up the market for international players, thus greatly supporting trade and tourism. Air transport has played a significant role in the development of trade, communications, trade and tourism worldwide. Despite the massive expansion, air transport faces serious challenges such as high fuel consumption, fuel prices, air traffic growth, competition, economic crisis, greenhouse gas emissions, safety, design and operational challenges. The fuel consumption is considered to be a major problem facing the air transport industry. Due to high oil prices and increasing competition, fuel consumption is rapidly becoming an important issue in the air transport industry. The rapid growth of the global economy last years also boosted oil demand, which in turn boosted its value. The aviation sector accounts for about 5.8 % of total oil consumption worldwide. Aviation fuel consumption today corresponds to between 2 and 3 % of total fossil fuel use worldwide, more than 80 % of which is used by civil aviation. It is predicted that traffic will grow 5 % per year to 2026 and fuel demand 3 % per year. Fig. 1. shows the rate of fuel consumption since 2005. Fuel consumption is one of the most important measures of direct operating costs in an air traffic control area. Fuel is the main and most volatile of operating costs, managing this issue is a growing challenge for the aviation sector. Airbus estimates that in 2003, fuel was about 28% of the total operating costs of a typical A320 family operator. But in the near future it may be more than 45% of all aircraft operating costs. The country's economy is largely dependent on oil prices. Increased fuel consumption affects airlines in two ways; direct impact on operating costs and reducing air and air travel needs.Item Wear resistance of aviation composite materials in the conditions of vibrations(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Lysenko, Mykyta Yriyovych; Over the past quarter century, the use of advanced composite material (ACM) has become almost commonplace in the aerospace industry - first proven through military applications, then increasingly in commercial and general aviation. As with many high tech systems, they were implemented aggressively into military aircraft production 10 to 15 years prior to widespread use in commercial aircraft [1]. Years of utilizing composite technology naturally precipitated a need to develop repair procedures. Nevertheless metals still contain huge part of the market, and grounding on its history and strength are widely used at such parts of the aircraft as wings, engines, hydraulic systems, rivets, bolts, and others. Now the most effective materials are metal and ACM. But during service life of this couple at the one aircraft rises some problem with durability and name of this problem is Fretting. Fretting, occurs when two materials are in contact and a great degree of relative motion, such as vibration, exists between the two. This can erode anti-corrosion coatings, or damage ACM structure thus initiating corrosion with further crack initiation. In metal-composite aircraft weakest points are near the engines. As wings of modern airplane mostly from ACM, spars of wings from the metal and points their connections may be the reason of dangerous fretting propagation.Item Improving the efficiency of maintenance of structural elements of the airframe(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Konovchenko, Artem Volodymyrovych; In the conditions of the modern world market, the process of technical operation to maintain the required level the serviceability of the aircraft fleet in airlines should be economically profitable in terms of labor, time and material costs. The solution to this problem can be achieved by planning and managing the activities of airlines in order to improve the efficiency of the process technical operation of civil aviation aircraft. Planning and implementation of activities, related to the activities of airlines to improve the reliability of aviation equipment, the safety and regularity of flights, the intensity of the use of aircraft and their efficiency the process of technical operation, requires the organization of joint work and interaction of the developer, aircraft manufacturer and operator. In this work substantiates the need to develop a technology for planning and implementing measures related to the activities of airlines, which allows, in stages, according to the activities of the developer, manufacturer and operator of aircraft, to establish the relationship and influence on the level of serviceability of the fleet, thereby increasing the efficiency of the process. Technical operation by all possible control actions. A comprehensive technology has been developed to improve the efficiency of the process of technical operation of aircraft, including measures in the areas of "Aircraft reliability", "Technology", "Personnel", "Equipment", "Materials", in order to increase the level of serviceability of the aircraft fleet. The integrated technology is presented in the form of a route technologies with an abbreviated description of the set of activities in the directions in the route map, indicating the entrances and exits at each stage. The advantages of using complex technology are shown on the example of improving one of the target indicators of the efficiency of the process of technical operation of aircraft.Item Improving the information support of the processes of maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Liakh, Vladyslav; Лях, ВладиславThe object of research is the system of organization and management of aircraft maintenance processes. А.For actuating aircraft control system and motor, and other systems and units for aircraft use various forms of energy with considerable power consumer. Depending on the type of energy used are hydraulic, gas and electric. Each grid has specific properties and has certain advantages. On modern airplanes is important hydraulic system, the rapid development and a sharp increase in capacity that is due to the extensive use of hydraulic actuators control surfaces. The hydraulic system provides aircraft management systems and mechanisms that determine the safety of the flight. Reliability, survivability and durability achieved perfection hydraulic design units, multiple redundancy, as a source of energy and hydraulic drives, automation control, monitoring and operation information of the crew. The use of hydraulic actuators on the aircraft due to the relatively small weight and size, great speed and low inertia of the actuator (unlike electric motors). Weight and dimensions of the hydraulic unit is approximately 10-20 percent of the weight and dimensions of the electrical machine of this appointment and the same capacity. Hydraulic systems can develop a significant effort for a large speed, provide a simple fixation of the intermediate positions of the actuators. Hydraulic systems are used to control the stabilizer and rudder, for cleaning and landing gear, landing mechanization and other consumers. The disadvantages of the hydraulic system may include a relatively small mass units, pipelines, and the working fluid, the dependence of the units on the ambient temperature. Damage to components and piping associated with the loss of integrity can result in the release of fluid from the hydraulic system, which will lead to failure hydro system.Item Improvement of airworthiness retaining system of Mi-8 helicopter family based on threat identification and risks management at maintenance(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Kucherenko, Identification of threats and risk management are fundamental for security, and safety. Foundation and roof of all aviation. Flight safety risks is the most basic question and this is exactly what each airline is committed to reduce. Despite the fact of that aviation and many incidents cannot be excluded of aviation, since everywhere there is a human factor, Risks and threats can be monitored and predicted. If we neglect the safety of flights in the airline, Than the demand for aviation movement will fall, which at the same time is simply unreal, people just got used to the plane.Item Methods and means of maintaining the appropriate level of quality in the aviation security system of the operating enterprise(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Sheshenia, Pavlo Sergiyovych; One of the national problems of each state is to ensure air safety. It is its level that affects the image of the state, economic development, tourism and air transport. The problem becomes especially relevant against the background of the development of Ukraine's integration into the European transport space, which strictly monitors the state's obligations to citizens to move safely inside the country and abroad, where their standards apply to delays, accidents and disasters. Ukraine's accession to the Single European Sky program provides for cooperation in such key areas as access to the aviation market, industrial cooperation in aviation, air traffic management and flight safety. The activities of the State Aviation Service are annually aimed at improving the level of flight safety through the implementation of standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (hereinafter ‒ ICAO), as well as bringing Ukrainian legislation in line with EU law. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic affected every country in the world and industry, and Ukraine's aviation industry is no exception. As the pandemic slowly comes under control, the State Aviation Service is making every effort to help it return to normal operation and is taking steps to protect people who interact with airport staff and flight crew. The Civil Aviation Service supports the process of connecting people and services by identifying and coordinating efforts to protect health and safety. The information contained in the 2020 Security Report is an integral part of the security information used to set security priorities in Ukraine with reference to the European Aviation Security Plan (EASP) and the European Regional Aviation Security Plan (EUR RASP). It is important to identify security issues in order to focus on effective measures to address the identified issues. In 2020, the State Aviation Service took a step to identify key risk areas and security issues.Item Research of wear resistance of plasma coatings in vibrations and unidirectional friction(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Nikitenko, Mykyta Serghiyovych; In any sphere where machines, mechanisms and different devices are used, the tasks of increasing their efficiency and durability are initial. Reliability and duration of that type of units where interaction between their parts are structurally embedded are caused by such phenomenon as friction and wear. Wear leads to interruption of mechanism units tightness, accuracy of details’ arrangement and also to their mutual displacements. As the result, wedging, impacts, vibration are appeared. Eventually, they lead to failures of mechanisms. Friction, in its turn, causes the loses of energy, reheating of the mechanism units and as the result - the reducing of their effective work. Phenomenon of friction and wear are interconnected: friction leads to wear, and wear of the detail surfaces causes the changes of friction. One of the ways of technical level increasing and increasing of quality of the machinery construction products is providing the parts of machine and assemblies of modern machinery with reliability and durability. This problem is especially actual for friction assemblies, because 80 % of machine's parts, mechanisms, instruments and technological equipment break down are caused by destroying of working surfaces. Nowadays a huge variety of testing equipment in manufacturing are developed and exploited, they are machines for testing the material on stretching and compression, bending, share, torsion, wear, impact, devices for determination of hardness elastic constants of materials, means for technological testing of materials, investigation of climatic factors, etc. Developing of units for carrying out the investigations of assemblies and separate parts for wear resistance gets the first-priority importance for different machines and mechanisms exploited at hard working conditions.Item Methodical bases of ensuring the efficiency of maintenance of the hydraulic system of medium-haul passenger aircraft(National Aviation University, 2021-12) Semchuk, Yan Volodymyrovych; The improvement of aviation technology, the creation of transonic and supersonic aircraft (AC) with an increased payload have led to a significant increase in the requirements for the reliability of their functional systems, the failures of which affect flight safety. Aircraft hydraulic systems also belong to such systems. The available experience shows that the solution to the reliability problem can be implemented only with an integrated approach to it, the reliability problem should be solved at the stages of design, manufacture, revision and operation of the aircraft. The practical application of the theory of reliability helps to establish the patterns of occurrence of failures of functional systems of the aircraft, taking into account the influence of external and internal factors and to substantiate the optimal strategy for their maintenance and repair. With the introduction of probabilistic criteria assessing the admissibility of the occurrence of special flight situations, it became necessary to develop more effective methods for ensuring the safety and durability of aviation technology. Further, a general approach to interrogation of the reliability of aircraft hydraulic systems is presented, as well as attention is paid to the relationship between the reliability and durability of hydraulic units with flight safety hydraulic systems and individual units at the stages of design, manufacture, testing and operation, taking into account the action of various factors and patterns of development of processes leading to malfunctions. The main factors influencing the reliability of the units of the aviation hydraulic system are analyzed. Methods for calculating reliability parameters are illustrated with examples. It is shown that it is promising to introduce progressive strategies for the operation of aircraft hydraulic drive units by technical condition, which are based on the principle of active control, reliability, taking into account the individual physical resources of the units.
