The phenomenon of the thought recording and conveying meanings has received increasing attention in recent years, but the consequences of extralinguistic factors impacting it have received much less research attention. Building on the theoretical approach to view interdependence between language and multi-dimensional societal implications as well as empirically obtained examples of the translational techniques aiming at attaining adequacy and equivalence in the process of translation, we draw attention to the attitudes of scholars towards basic features that are revealed with the help of culturally and cognitively induced factors. We argue that a translator analyses meanings from the interdisciplinary perspective: contrastive analysis of similarities and differences among people with different ethnic mentalities and consciousness leads to the reflection of their concept picture conveyed via means of the target language.uk_UA
