Abstract: The average age of the aircraft fleet of Ukrainian airlines is approaching 19 years and is currently 18,46 years old. The data were obtained by analyzing information from the register of Ukrainian civil aircraft on 94 aircraft of 12 Ukrainian airlines. The youngest aircraft with Ukrainian registration is 2 months old (Boeing 737-800 UR - PSR UIA - July 2016),the oldest is 50 years old (An-12B UR-11819 Motor Sich 1966).
Description: The oldest board is An-12 UR-11819 of 1966, the youngest is An-140 UR14005 of 2003 . Excluding the An-12, the average age of Motor Sich aircraft that can be used to carry passengers is 34,16 years. Possible errors: the age of the aircraft was determined by the following formula: 2016 (the year of manufacture of the aircraft indicated in the register). For example: 2016-1997 = 19 years old. Minor errors are possible due to the fact that the register does not indicate the month of aircraft production. In this regard, the board, released in January 2015, is estimated to be 1 year old.
