Flight attendants, also known as cabin crew, are an essential part of the airline industry. They play a significant role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during a flight. These experts execute a good variety of functions, from customer service to dealing with emergencies, and require a unique set of skills to do their duties efficiently. People often confuse cabin crew with waiters, and such a mindset prevents them from fully appreciating the impact of flight attendants on the flight itself and the passenger's well-being during it.

Everyone who travels with an international airline is able to hear flight attendants and pilots talking at least once. Among flight attendants’ responsibilities is a necessity to report pilots about cabin secure and ready for take-off. However, for most passengers the sence of these conversations probably remains unclear. Not less shocking is the number of special code words they use. When working on board, the crew must be clearly familiar with all the peculiarities of the language, and in general, this is not even a feature of work in aviation, it is inherent in any line of job.
Development and perspectives of using the ultrasonic object movement detector: the importance the english

Our goal is to design and build a simple and cheap primary ultrasonic motion transmitter, which is aimed at detecting the physical motion of an object. Ultrasonic motion detectors are based on the use of a phenomenon known as the Doppler effect when detecting the movement of an object [1]. In the process of working on this topic, it became necessary to submit information about the projected invention, namely, the characteristics, diagram and principle of operation in English, because it is a mean of global communication and the language of science. For example, the instruction to a device functioning is given entirely in English, so the specialist has to understand it properly. For this s/he has to know technical vocabulary. So we had to use English as the language of international communication. We came to know that it is the language of navigation, aviation and programming as well as literature and education. Practicing engineers explore new information in English at their work.

To provide safe air passenger transportation a huge number of aviation personnel is involved. International transportation is organized due to International Civil Organization (ICAO) requirements as this process has to be unique and standard to all participants. The experience of air transport management depicts that all aviation personnel need to interact with each other. To establish this interaction successfully the knowledge of international language becomes necessary. Thus, Aviation English is here in need.

Accurate and proper communication is crucial fact in aviation because it is necessary for ensuring safe and efficient operations. Miscommunication can be the cause or a key contributory factor in emergency situation. As aviation involves a complex system of communication between pilots, air traffic controllers, ground staff, and other personnel any breakdown in communication can lead to confusion, errors, and potentially catastrophic accidents. When pilots and controllers are communicating effectively it provides stress redundancy and mistakes avoidance on both sides of the microphone.

Since 2019, when the quarantine started, students of higher education enterprises have started online studying. At the same time a question of adaptation of offline tasks arose. The six language proficiency skills assessed in ICAO Aviation English Test: vocabulary, grammar, structure, pronunciation, fluency, comprehension and interactions. In order to acquire the appropriate skills effectively and in an interesting way a plenty of online tools were developed.

The influence of digital videos on our everyday culture is undeniable. Online video sharing sites such a YouTube boast monthly audience numbers in the millions. With digital videos continuing to gain popularity, it seems only natural that this familiar and widespread platform should extend into the education system. Students today are using educational videos as a tool for learning everything: from basic skills - like changing a tire - to the latest dance craze. Studies of Cambridge University have shown that the use of short video clips allows for more efficient processing and memory recall. The visual and auditory nature of videos appeals to a wide audience and allows each user to process information in a way that’s natural to them. In a nutshell, videos are good teachers.

As of March 2023, only one vacancy for a Flight Planning Manager was found among online job offers in the aviation sector in Ukraine. And even from an employer from a Ukrainian company, the requirements for candidates include knowledge of English at the IELTS 6.0 level (including Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate).
