Flight attendants, also known as cabin crew, are an essential part of the airline industry. They play a significant role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during a flight. These experts execute a good variety of functions, from customer service to dealing with emergencies, and require a unique set of skills to do their duties efficiently. People often confuse cabin crew with waiters, and such a mindset prevents them from fully appreciating the impact of flight attendants on the flight itself and the passenger's well-being during it.
Analysis of the mechanism of natural bacterial bioluminescence and areas of its industrial application

Nowadays, there are many different areas of production where classical methods are usually used, but with the development of technology, they become insufficient. Therefore, we propose to start using the bioluminescence of bacteria on the large industrial scale. ATP-bioluminescence assays are used for hygiene control in several settings and industries including healthcare and food processing plants, whereas Lux-tagged bacterial bioluminescence is used to develop improved hygiene practices in the food industry [1]. This work explores the mechanism of bacterial bioluminescence and areas for its further industrial application; therefore, main tasks of the work are the analysis of data in this area of research, performing a comparative analysis based on the found data and the investigation of areas in which this mechanism is applied, and what are the results of world research.
Apple processing technology use of vinegar for medicinal purposes

The food industry frequently uses the creation of fruit vinegars as a method of utilizing fruit by-products because surplus or inferior fruit can be used without lowering the quality of the finished product. Almost any fruit can be used to make vinegar due to the acetic nature of vinegars and the subsequent impact on the organoleptic features of the finished product. A crucial step for the final product's quality is the preparation and manufacture of the juice for the creation of vinegar using various techniques, the most common of which are crushing or pressing. The various conditions and methods of acetic and alcoholic fermentation processing have a big impact on the final features. Different conditions and processing methods of both alcohol and vinegar fermentation also significantly affect the final characteristics of the produced vinegar. For alcoholic fermentation, the choice between a spontaneous or inoculated procedure, as well as the microorganisms present in the process, are of particular importance. For vinegar fermentation, the type of pickling system used (surface or submerged) is one of the most influential factors for the final physicochemical properties of fruit vinegars. A well-liked natural treatment is apple cider vinegar. For generations, people have utilized it in cooking and alternative healing. According to research, it does have some antibacterial and antioxidant effects in addition to other health benefits.
Application of partial derivatives in finding coefficients of elasticity of the production function

Summarizing all the above we can conclude that if dealing with production functions, the influence of factors on it should be carefully determined. By finding the factor that contributes to the better elasticity of the production function, we can understand where it is better to direct the available resources in order to increase the value of this function more efficiently. This analysis of elasticity is possible thanks to partial derivatives, which proves the relevance of their use in economic problems.
Aviation english for cabin crew essential or not

Everyone who travels with an international airline is able to hear flight attendants and pilots talking at least once. Among flight attendants’ responsibilities is a necessity to report pilots about cabin secure and ready for take-off. However, for most passengers the sence of these conversations probably remains unclear. Not less shocking is the number of special code words they use. When working on board, the crew must be clearly familiar with all the peculiarities of the language, and in general, this is not even a feature of work in aviation, it is inherent in any line of job.
Calculation of optimum number of vehicles for grain transportation

Increasing the efficiency of transportation and loading and unloading operations is one of the existing reserves for reducing the cost of agricultural products and increasing the profitability of enterprises of the agro-industrial complex. To achieve this goal, an algorithm for solving the problem is considered to justify the necessary number of vehicles for the transportation of grain crops from the field to granaries.The developed method allows us to achieve the set goals by finding the necessary rationally justified number of vehicles, when transporting grain crops from the field to granaries. At the same time, the carrying capacity of each model is taken into account, and not the average for the entire rolling stock, as well as the number of combines used for threshing grain crops, with the technical characteristics of each. As a result, we get the minimum number of vehicles of each model with the maximum useful load.
Calculation of parameters for the mining enterprise sanitary protection zone

It is difficult to overestimate the calculation of the parameters of the sanitary protection zone. It is the sanitary protection zone that determines the safety parameters of the enterprise. The safety parameters of the enterprise are determined to reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. The sanitary protection zone is intended for dispersion of impurities and pollutants in the territory around the enterprise. The sanitary protection zone is an important component for ensuring the health of the population and reducing the negative impact of the enterprise on the human body and the environment. Without a sanitary protective zone around the enterprise, it is impossible to operate the enterprise. Just as it is forbidden to build residential accommodation near the enterprise without taking into account the sanitary protection zone, it is also forbidden to conduct economic activities around the sanitary protection zone. It is a driver of safety and is determined according to mathematical operations of determination, these mathematical operations are used in Environmental Impact Assessment reports, which are ordered by enterprises in order to obtain permits for their activities.
Catenary arch

Relevance of the civil liability of air carriers have their complexity in legal regulation. That is why the civil liability of air carriers is a complex issue due to the multiplicity of sources of regulation, which includes both state regulatory and legal acts and international treaties. The issue of the carrier's responsibility is regulated not only by national legislation but also by international treaties in the field of civil aviation. When resolving aviation disputes, the sources of law at the national level are the Civil Code of Ukraine, the Air Code of Ukraine, the Aviation Rules of Ukraine "The rules of Air Transportation and Service of Passengers and Baggage", others and at international level, Ukraine is guided by Montreal Convention, Warsaw Convention, Prague Protocol, etc.
Comparative analysis of novel bioremediation methods for pharmaceutical wastewater treatment

Development rate of the industrial production of pharmaceuticals is making a problem of wastewater treatment from pharmaceutical waste more and more actual. Reason is pharmaceutical industries dispose lots of water that cannot be used afterwards, if it was not purified beforehand due the presence of drug components in it. By draining it away without any clear rules, we make the resulting wastewater very complex in its composition. Here is why our goal was to compare new ways of pharmaceutical wastewater bioremediation that have prospect to gain wider use in the future. According to goal, we performed a literature review and found two different ways of bioremediation which can be applied for treatment of the pharmaceutical wastewater: using bacteria and using fungi.

One of the ways to reduce such costs is to choose the optimal operating speed of the vessel. This paper considers the problem of optimising the speed of vessel operation by studying the function for an extremum that guarantees the maximum possible level of profit from a voyage.
Development and perspectives of using the ultrasonic object movement detector: the importance the english

Our goal is to design and build a simple and cheap primary ultrasonic motion transmitter, which is aimed at detecting the physical motion of an object. Ultrasonic motion detectors are based on the use of a phenomenon known as the Doppler effect when detecting the movement of an object [1]. In the process of working on this topic, it became necessary to submit information about the projected invention, namely, the characteristics, diagram and principle of operation in English, because it is a mean of global communication and the language of science. For example, the instruction to a device functioning is given entirely in English, so the specialist has to understand it properly. For this s/he has to know technical vocabulary. So we had to use English as the language of international communication. We came to know that it is the language of navigation, aviation and programming as well as literature and education. Practicing engineers explore new information in English at their work.
