Abstract
The article sets out to provide the study of artistic text translation. The
translation of artistic text as any type of translation is characterized by its own peculiar
features and is considered to be the most labour-intensive. Such type of translation is
distinguished by its novelty, specialty and striving to modernize. One of the peculiar
features of artistic text is a great number of stylistic figures and different expressive means
in the source language, which should be rendered with all its stylistic peculiarities, sense
and other nuances. Thus, the main aim of the artistic text translator will always be the
maintenance of individuality and the adaptation for target language culture.
