Навчально-методичний комплекс дисципліни «Академічне письмо англійською мовою» (06;29)

Abstract

Мета, завдання навчальної дисципліни Дана навчальна дисципліна з циклу дисциплін зі здобуття мовних компетентностей. Є теоретичною та практичною основою знань та вмінь, що формують профіль фахівця в галузі міжнародних економічних відносин та забезпечує формування основ академічного письма англійської мови аспіранта. Метою викладання дисципліни «Академічне письмо англійської мови» є формування англомовної комунікативної компетенції як сукупності знань, умінь і навичок, що забезпечують ефективну писемну комунікацію англійською мовою. Студенти мають вивчити особливості функціонування англійської мови у науковій писемній комунікації, засвоїти специфіки англомовного академічного письма через ознайомлення із сучасними оригінальними науковими текстами5 різних жанрів, виявлення їхніх структурних, змістових, мовно-стилістичних і риторичних рис; удосконалити уміння і навички продукувати якісні тексти фахового спрямування англійською мовою; оволодіти культурою академічного письма з урахуванням канонів сучасного англомовного академічного дискурсу.

It is a theoretical and practical basis of knowledge and skills that form a profile specialist in the field of international economic relations and ensures the formation of foundations academic writing of the English language of a graduate student. The purpose of teaching the discipline "Academic English Writing" is the formation of English communicative competence as a set of knowledge, abilities and skills that ensure effective written communication in English. Students should study the peculiarities of the functioning of the English language in scientific written communication, learn the specifics of English-language academic writing through familiarization with modern original scientific texts5 of various genres, identifying their structural, content, language-stylistic and rhetorical features; to improve the skills and abilities to produce quality texts of the professional direction in English; to master the culture of academic writing taking into account the canons of modern English-language academic discourse.
