Постмодернізм vs. параметризм: контекст і канон

Abstract

У статті визначено поняття постмодернізму, розглянуто аспекти його постійної реактулізації, проаналізовано доцільність стилю на архітектурній арені. Виявлено особливості трансформації постмодерністського напрямку в інші архітектурні течії, зокрема в новий глобальний параметричний стиль. Розглянута концептуальна стилістика параметрізму.

The article defines a concept of postmodernism through outlining stylistic elements of postmodern architecture. The expedience and the forms of constant reactualization of postmodernism in modern architectural context are determined by orientation to the previous architecture for creating new objects. It is noted that "postmodernism" in architecture is used with dual content: as a simplified concept of the style itself and as an alternative to the idea of the phenomenon of postmodern. Postmodernism is marked as a conceptual reconstruction of previous styles such as functionalism, international style, rationalism and other. Also, the author examines the transformation of postmodern in variety of different architecture styles, including parametricism. Architecture of parametricism and postmodernism give attention to separated stylistic elements but unlike posmodernistic combination of forms for the sake of themselves, parametricism uses only geometrical units that are determined by the technological development of modern computers. The article also describes the conceptual stylistic of parametrical architecture, which is trying to create more intelligently constructed world using geometrical construction for ordering the space. Parametrical architecture actualizes, firstly, because of transformation the idea and conception of space phenomenon. Postmodernistic architecture tries to create its own philosophy based on ironical interpretation of historical forms. At the same time, parametricism exists more likely as design method of architecture. In fine, this contemporary avant-garde architecture style is ready to become the main movement of modern design against the backdrop of stylistic warfare.
