An aircraft accident is an event related to the operation of aircraft and occurred during the period when passengers or crew members were on it, during which destruction or damage to the aircraft occurred, with or without death of the crew members or passengers. All aviation accidents are divided into flight and ground. Flight accidents are subdivided into accidents, accidents and breakdowns depending on the consequences.
Forecasting methods on air transport

In this article, we reviewed forecasting methods based on smoothing, exponential smoothing and moving average. The main thing of this paper is that when forecasting transportation, it is necessary to choose the most important factors that affect transportation. To sum up everything that has been stated so far, we have compared method predictions based on different methods to forecast the traffic level on new airports.

In long-term forecasting, it is necessary to take into account the nature of the factors that determine the quantity-demand. Where it is necessary to carry out a complete analysis of demand, the forecasting methodology should include the following steps: establishing a form of relationship between expected variables and levels of demand for air transportation, including changes in these levels; forecasting expected levels of external factors in the project year;forecasting the future levels of demand for transportation at the established levels of external factors.
Research of the quantitative indicators of the flight safety

The article analyzes the requirements to the flight performance of transport category aircraft to estimate the level of flight safety, taking into account all the factors and causes. Modern economic situation sets tasks of constant raise of air transport (AT) operation effectiveness. It demands provision of flights practically in any weather, day and night, in most diverse natural and climatic conditions. But in the process of operation it is necessary to ensure the required level of flight safety. Therefore, one of the main directions of operational science is the expansion of airworthiness standards for aircraft (AC).
Statement of the problem of optimization of production management in case of accumulation of delayed aircraft

The present article deals with the mathematical formulation of the problem of determining the optimal release queue for delayed flights with a cluster of aircraft. In these abstract the only interesting thing is the change in costs while changing the delayed aircraft queue management parameters. Also, to obtain the dependence of costs on the duration of the delay, the terms of the costs for the delay of each flight were analyzed.

In our work, we described maintenance process in aircraft. During exploitation period, some irregularities appeared and it needs to be fix. So, we found and explained different types of maintenance and described this process. In our work, we also highlighted process of preliminary work and said about steps for inspection and maintenance. Furthermore, we think that one of the important part is parking works, which was also describe in our work.
