    Velocity of a falling object with air resistance

    We consider the problem of determining the velocity v of a falling object with air resistance. The differential equation for the falling speed of an object can be written using Newton's second law, which states that the force acting on an object is equal to the object's mass multiplied by its acceleration. In the case of an object falling in the zone of air resistance, it can be assumed that the force of resistance is proportional to the square of the object's speed.
