Abstract
At the present time, when a person is organically inscribed in the network of mass communications, he involuntarily becomes the carrier of a multicultural environment. Polycultural education in Ukraine acquires
special significance in the present period, when interethnic relations are one of the decisive factors determining the conditions of human existence. Polycultural education is the knowledge of a person of polyculture,
the possibility of its self-realization in the multicultural world while maintaining the relationship with the native language and culture, which ultimately contributes to conflict-free identification of the individual in a
multicultural society and its integration into the multicultural world space.
