| Abstract: | The article deals with the growth of Cuban Americans’ political clout. Special attention is paid to the role of immigrants from Cuba in Florida’s presidential voting in recent decades and the struggle of mainstream U.S. parties for the “Cuban electorate.” Analyzed are the results of Donald Trump’s victory in Florida in the 2016 presidential election. Made are forecasts for the near future in Florida politics |
