Особливості укладання нових галузевих словників (на прикладі англо-українського словника з фізики)

Abstract

У статті розкрито поняття галузевого словника, проаналізовано досвід укладання двомовних галузевих словників, висвітлено головні етапи укла¬дання словника, розглянуто особливості відбору термі¬нів, їх перекладу й описані проблеми, що виникають у цьому процесі. Визначено принципи укладання англо- українського словника з фізики та обґрунтовано необ¬хідність його видання.

The article deals with the concept of a specialized dictionary, the analysis of the experience of compiling bilingual specialized dictionaries; it highlights the main stages of compiling the dictionary, considers the main features of selecting special terms and their transla¬tion and describes the problems arising during this pro¬cess. The author defines the principles of compiling the English-Ukrainian Dictionary of Physics and necessity of its publication
