Інфографіка радянського періоду як культурний феномен

Abstract

В статті описується еволюція радянської інфографіки як культурного феномену з 1920-х років до середини 1960-х років. Підкреслюється її агітаційна і пропагандистська складова. Автор приділяє особливу увагу впливу Віденського методу образотворчої статистики на інфографіку періоду функціонування ІЗОСТАТУ та його батькам-засновникам Отто Нейрату та Герду Арнцу. Досліджується історія образотворчої статистики в сфері формування нової візуальної мови – піктограм, які широко використовувалися в Віденському методі образотворчої статистики. На відміну від суджень зарубіжних авторів показується самостійність вітчизняного графічного методу, проаналізовано взірці образотворчої статистики ілюстрованих альбомів ІЗОСТАТу, Держлану СРСР.

The article describes the evolution of Soviet infographics as a cultural phenomenon from 1920s till middle of 1960s. The author underlines and pays particular attention to its agitation and propaganda background and features. She examines the influence of Vienna method of pictorial statistics on Soviet infographics during the period of functioning of IZOSTAT and its ground fathers Otto Neurath and Gerd Arntz. The history of illustrative statistics in sphere of creation of new visual language – pictograms, which were widely applied in Vienna method of pictorial statistics, is researched. Contrary to the views of foreign authors independence of native graphic method is shown, examples of illustrative statistics of illustrative albums of IZOSTAT and State Plan are being analyzed.
