    Big data in logistics: last mile application

    Big data is revolutionizing many business areas, including logistics and business processes in it. The complexity and dynamics of logistics, coupled with the reliance on many movable parts, can cause bottlenecks at any point in the supply chain, making big data application a vital element of effectiveness in logistical processes design and management. For example, big data logistics can be used to optimize routing, simplify factory functions and give transparency to the entire supply chain, from which both logistics companies and shipping companies may benefit. The third-party logistical company and a transportation company may agree on this issue. Though big data require a large number of high-quality information sources to work effectively.

    COVID vaccine: supply chain challenges

    The Covid pandemic paused the development of the world economy for quite some time. Experts link the beginning of recovery with the speed and quality of vaccination. That’s why the aim of the paper to analyze different logistics and supply chain questions, connected to the procedure of delivering and handling vaccines in Ukraine. Preservation and proper transportation are directly proportional to a safe vaccine. Therefore, the table 1 refers main data based on information from official web sites about 5 vaccines that have passed the 3rd phase of clinical testing / evaluation. The Sputnik B vaccine will be excluded from this list because it is prohibited by law in Ukraine.

    Optimization of the process of cargo transportation by road

    The existing system of organization of road transport in Ukraine almost does not allow the introduction of modern logistics methods of cargo delivery and reduce transportation costs. It is necessary to find alternative schemes of traffic organization, which will allow to increase the competitiveness of road transport, and reduce the cost of transportation. Observation and research of the issues of ensuring the efficient operation of motor transport enterprises, classification and description of the components of improving the management and optimization of freight transport, which will enable motor transport enterprises to influence the design of rational transportation process, reduce transport costs and production in general. Correlation-regression analysis of the efficiency of determining the rational route of movement of vehicles allows to improve the technical and operational indicators of rolling stock and increase the productivity of vehicles and reduce the cost of transported goods.

Найефективнішим шляхом економічного розвитку підприємств та досягнення успіху на ринку являється впровадження та використання інновацій, які є запорукою підвищення якості і конкурентоспроможності продукції сучасного підприємства. Однією із цих численних інновацій і є блокчейн. Технологія блокчейн почала набирати значних обертів, після того як новозапущений біткоїн став популярним. Блокчейн – це основна технологія біткойнів та інших цифрових валют, таких як ефіріум. Хоча ці криптовалюти відкрили інновації у просторі цифровихвалют, є багато випадків використання технології блокчейн не лише для валютних областей.
