dc.description.abstractThe article discusses the plot, plot-linear and non-linear structure of the film and their analogues in the architectural environment. This is important in the scenario design process with the goal of creating programmed experiences for a better perception. As a result of studying the plot composition of the film, we came to the conclusion that its structural elements and their features can be used to analyze the architectural environment in order to study its plot structure. Thus, the legitimacy of the use of cinematic analysis for the analysis of the architectural environment is confirmed, since the only art that offers a person a similar experience of space is cinema, where the movement of the camera replaces the real movement of the body in space. So, cinema, by its nature, better models the process of cognition, is closest to the real conditions of human life. The plot structure of the architectural environment of the city means its urban planning structure, as in the cinema, it can develop linearly - from the beginning of the route to the end point along one street line, or be more complex (non-linear), where all the elements are placed in random order. As in the film, where images are moving on the screen and there is a movement of the plot, in the architectural environment, movement is the main condition for its full perception. As in the film Also, the movement of the plot of the architectural environment, as a rule, is intermittent, which is caused by the loss of valuable architectural objects and even parts of urban development, or the stops of the viewer himself. In cinema, the idea of a film, the main function of which is the structural organization of history, organizes the movement of the plot and sets the formula for the ending, but in an architectural environment a person moves around the city perceives this environment from the starting point to the final through the spatio-temporal aspect that has developed historically, and the idea here acts architectural and artistic appearance of the city.uk_UA
