Abstract
The article is devoted to the teaching of social and political translation
and examines the role of translators in modern society. The study
hypothesized that using target texts of the website InoSMI and its source
texts in teaching translation has a positive effect on translation competence
formation. To illustrate these ideas, some examples were used to show how
articles of InoSMI can be presented in studying and analyzing different
aspects of social and political translation.
