Abstract
The given article deals with the analysis of contemporary teaching
technologies used for the development of students‘ skills and abilities in
versatile types of translation and interpretation at the university level from
the point of view of the range of assessment procedures involved. The need
in thorough elaboration and implementation of appropriate not only heterobut self- and peer-assessment tools and techniques has been substantiated
due to the analysis of assessment role in a prospective philologist‘s
professional development and activity. The discrepancy between the
mentioned above need and lack of such techniques and tools in modern
students‘ university training has been revealed. Some prospective
empirically verified ways and instruments for their accomplishment have
been singled out and reviewed.
