Культурологические, технические и лингвистические аспекты локализации русских веб-сайтов высших учебных заведений для китайской аудитории

Abstract

Nowadays, when people from different language and cultural groups are getting closer because of the Internet, and when the computer has become an integral part of our lives, there is a need to process certain information in different languages and a need for multilingual support for software and websites. The creation of the Internet, as well as the phenomenon of «globalization», generated a new concept of ―localization‖ in the translation studies. This article is dedicated to the specificities of localization and translation of web-sites from Russian into Chinese.
