DIFFICULTIES IN UNDERSTANDING THE ENGLISH TERMS

Abstract

There are such similar terms: translation, interpretation and rendering. The term “translation “is referred to the written text, and the term “interpretation “is referred to oral speech. However, the terms are polysemantic: to interpret might mean “to render or discuss the meaning of the text”. The term to translate is often referred to any (written or oral) manner of expression in another language.

Є декілька схожих термінів: переклад, розуміння тексту та його передача. Є термін, що означає письмовий переклад, а є термін, що відноситься до усного перекладу. Проте ці терміни полісемантичні.

Существует несколько идентичных терминов: перевод (устный, письменный), передача текста. К тому же, они полисемантичны.
