dc.description.abstractThis article focuses on the issues of language policy that take place nowadays, including globalization with its strong and weak points in regard to education; foreign language learning and teaching in the conditions of drastic global changes in world economies. It discusses the most peculiar characteristics of English learning and teaching; it briefly encompasses conditions under which foreign languages (FLs) are currently taught, learned, and used. It also respectively considers the positive and the negative effects of globalization. The article implies the tendencies and trends that are apparent in the light of the global English market.uk_UA
