La fiche pédagogique présente l’ensemble d’activités unies par le thème « Vivre à Paris ». L’objectif de ces activités est de continuer à former la compétence socioculturelle, de faire réviser et/ ou apprendre aux étudiants du niveau B1 le vocabulaire concernant la vie quotidienne de la capitale, ses avantages et désavantages, les lieux touristiques, les préférences des Parisiens, leurs visions du confort, les composants principaux du paysage parisien. Le contexte et les activités pour une pratique visant à la compréhension et l’expression orale et écrite se basent sur le texte de la chanson « Les toits de Paris » de Gauvain Sers où le chanteur raconte une certaine philosophie de vie propre aux habitants des derniers étages des immeubles parisiens traditionnels. L’ensemble d’activités proposé permettra aux étudiants d’élargir leurs connaissances de la culture française en général et de sa partie « parisienne » en particulier, concernant l’architecture de Paris, les technologies parisiennes, la mentalité des Parisiens, le phénomène des toits de Paris.

Rapid implementation of modern technologies, expanding of the information space and development of the channels of communication demand perfect knowledge about the functioning of the world community from the Ukrainian students. As we know, education in Ukraine quite often does not live up the expectations of young ambitious people, but not everyone can afford to study abroad. Do we have a solution of this problem? Of course, we do, because today every well-educated and diligent student has a chance to use at least one of the academic mobility programs.

 Academic mobility is an old phenomenon and it has already become a profile issue among the students and teaching staff. The number of countries involved has increased hugely in the lost decades. This is a contemporary kind of mobility that enables students to acquire qualifications with a difference, enhance their employment chances and integrate into various communities.
Activation of student imagination as an efficient method of teaching writing in a foreign language

The article deals with the issue of enhancing the imagination as an effective technique for teaching writing in a foreign language. The important role of the use of imagination in maintaining the students’ motivation to study is noted due to the creative nature of tasks, the removal of psychological barriers in the assimilation of foreign language material, a positive emotional background in the classroom, increased involuntary attention and memorization. Examples of texts and tasks for teaching foreign language writing are given, which stimulate creativity, imagination, extraordinary thinking of students. It is concluded that when teaching a foreign language writing, appealing to the imagination of students, the didactic sequence involves two stages when creating a written utterance: 1) familiarization with a sample text borrowed from fiction, journalistic, popular science literature / written by a teacher for educational purposes; 2) the implementation of post-text tasks developed by the teacher and aimed at forming certain language skills and developing speech skills. By activating the imagination of students, the sample text is a catalyst for the students’ subsequent educational activities: it determines the direction of thought, provides a creative approach to completing tasks, suggests the choice of speech means necessary for the implementation of a creative idea.

ACTUAL CONCERNS OF FUTURE TOURISM EXPERTS PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION IN TERMS OF NATIONAL AND FOREIGN EDUCATION

У рамках нашого долідження акцентувано увагу на теоретичних аспектах фахової підготовки майбутніх фахівців сфери туризму у Туреччині та в Україні. Зауважено, що одним із факторів ефективної іншомовної фахової підготовки вищезазначених фахівців є не лише формування теоретичних і практичних знань, вмінь та здатностей, але і вміння самостійно вирішувати проблемні завдання і взагалі були спроможним працювати самостійно. На основі теоретичного аналізу стану проблеми у Туреччині та Україні, розроблено практикуму «Англійська для сфери туризму» для фахівців з туристичної галузі. Структуриний апарат методичної розробки інтегрував десять частин, кожна з яких виконує конкретну функцію.
ADVANCES IN TEACHING ENGLISH FOR TOURISM ON THE CONTEMPORARY BASIS

The article under consideration displays the deep analysis of the matter of shaping foreign language communicative competence of future experts in tourism area. Special highlights are focused on finding the most advanced methods of coming up with the proper solution of the stated concern. The implementation of natural approach, experiential interactive learning to teaching English for tourism has been considered. The results of the study suggest that experiential interactive learning enhance the effectiveness of forming foreign language communicative competence in tourism area.

In the context of globalization of the world economy, international air transportation is an important part of the integration process of countries into the modern system of international economic relations and accession to the international market  of  transport  services. The world aviation complex and aviation infrastructure of countries is of exceptional importance for solving  socio-economic  problems,  improving  the  living  standards  of  the population and belongs to significant areas of the economy. The process of improving air transport provides an opportуrtunity to improve relationships with other countries, increase potential markets for goods and services, directly  involve  aviation  companies  in  foreign  projects  and,  as  a  result,  be competitive in the field of air transportation.

This article researches and compares the features of alternative communications in the Soviet and modern periods. The author analyses the works of Ukrainian and foreign scholars. The concept of dissident and alternative communications is considered. The research method is interviewing participants and witnesses of the dissident movement in Ukraine: professional communicators, journalists, and publicists. Their interpretation relates the events of 1960-1980s to Ukraine's today.

The study guide consists of a practical course – articles, texts, questions and tasks for independent and individual research work of higher education applicants. The practical significance of the study guide is characterized with the availability of authentic texts of the discipline "Business English" for students of the Master's degree of specialty 292 "International Economic Relations" as well as after-text tasks aimed at mastering modern professional terminology and developing translation skills. This development can be useful not only for students of higher education in the field of knowledge 29 "International Relations", but also for many other specialties of the Faculty of International Relations as well as for people learning English on their own. Практикум складається з практичного курсу – статей, текстів, запитань та завдань до самостійної та індивідуально-дослідної роботи здобувачів вищої освіти. Each module of he developed study guide is represented by a set of oral and written tasks of both reproductive and productive nature. The practical significance of the manuscript for independent work of students – future masters in international law in the process of studying the discipline "Business English" is to ensure effective professional interaction in situations of oral and written business communication. This development can be useful not only for students majoring in 293 "International Law", but also for many other specialties of the Faculty of International Relations. Кожен модуль розробленого навчального посібника представлений набором усних та письмових завдань як репродуктивного, так і продуктивного характеру. Практичне значення рукопису для самостійної роботи студентів – майбутніх магістрів з міжнародного права в процесі вивчення дисципліни «Ділова англійська мова» полягає в забезпеченні ефективної професійної взаємодії в ситуаціях усного та письмового ділового спілкування. L'article présente les activités didactiques en classe de FLE qui apprennent aux étudiants à parler d'une société qui veut défendre le “vivre ensemble” et l’égalité des conditions pour chacun. Les objectifs se réalisent lors de la discussion sur des relations entre les gens des nationalités différentes qui prévoit, du point de vue linguistique, le développement de l’expression orale et la révision des adjectifs de nationalités, des noms de pays, des prépositions de place et de provenance (à, en, de etc.) à l'aide des documents authentiques (chanson “Dents d’ivoire et peau d’ébène”, textes extraits du journal Metro, poésie “Message” de Julos Beaucarne).
Challenges in teaching English for tourism

The present paper aims at giving an overview of the particular challenges of teaching English to students in tourism, a field which has seen a considerable development over the recent period. The paper is divided into four parts: the first part offers an introduction to the importance of English for tourism specialty students; the second part focuses on the appropriate syllabus development framed with foreign language activities; the third part makes reference to the teaching materials to be used with a view to enhancing students ’language proficiency; the last part presents some possible challenges language teachers and their students have to cope with to successfully accomplish the learning objectives.
