Strategic management of international transportation in a logistics company

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyze the strategic management of international transportation within logistics companies, focusing on Rhenus. The research seeks to identify trends, assess the competitive landscape, and provide a comprehensive understanding of how strategic decisions in international transportation impact the overall effectiveness of Rhenus’ logistics operations. The subject of investigation is the strategic management of international transportation within the logistics framework of Rhenus, with a focus on understanding the company’s approaches, challenges, and successes in the global logistics industry. The object of research is the strategic management practices related to international transportation within the operational scope of Rhenus, aiming to explore, analyze, and comprehend the decision-making processes, challenges, and outcomes in this specific area of the company’s logistics operations. Methods of research are scientific inquiry, empirical, analysis and synthesis, modeling, expert assessments, extrapolation of time series. Materials of the thesis are recommended for use during scientific research, in the educational process and in the practical work of specialists of logistics departments.

Метою дослідження є дослідження та аналіз стратегічного управління міжнародними перевезеннями в рамках логістичних компаній, зосередившись на Ренус. Дослідження спрямоване на виявлення тенденцій, оцінку конкурентного середовища та забезпечити всебічне розуміння того, як стратегічні рішення в міжнар транспортування впливає на загальну ефективність логістичних операцій Rhenus. Предметом дослідження є стратегічний менеджмент міжнар транспортування в рамках логістики Rhenus, з акцентом на розуміння підходів компанії, викликів та успіхів у глобальному масштабі логістична галузь. Об’єктом дослідження є практики стратегічного управління, пов’язані з міжнародні перевезення в межах операційної сфери Rhenus, спрямовані на дослідження, аналізувати та розуміти процеси прийняття рішень, виклики та результати у цій специфічній сфері логістичних операцій компанії. Методи дослідження: науково-дослідний, емпіричний, аналіз і синтез, моделювання, експертні оцінки, екстраполяція часових рядів.
