In the article we analyzed three different types of simulator training exercises: CTR (Control zone), TMA (terminal control area) and CTA (control area) with various type of complexity. We determined that every zone, where air traffic service is provided, has different technology of work and individual instructions for procedures. Using the algorithm for tasks complexity estimation in the pre-simulator training, with the help of expert evaluation method, we found criterion of weighting. According to the results, we built the graph, representing the hard zone of air traffic control. In addition, we analyzed pre-simulation assessment criteriauk_UA
